Trip Home: Part 8 - Countryside, Bega NSW

The Bega Valley is a very picturesque part of Australia.  We started our morning in Bega with morning tea at Thornleigh on Newton at Bismarck House.  Bismarck House was built in 1876, and a lovely spot for morning tea or lunch.

After morning tea we went on to Bega's most famous factory, the Bega Cheese factory.  If you are in Bega, stop in here and grab some of the Heritage Vintage Reserve Cheddar.  It's aged 14 years (if my memory serves me right) and the cheese factory is the only place you can get it.  It is definitely worth it.

I then went a little crazy taking photos, these are just the tip of the iceberg!

After a very enjoyable day, we enjoyed a perfect night in with our cheese and a glass of red, and a DVD.
